Expedición a Isla Pinguino - TrekkingDespués de varios días sin actividad turística al fin conseguí embarcar en el “Albatros”, la embarcación más grande de la firma Darwin Expediciones, que al día siguiente zarpaba con destino a Isla Pingüino.
Mi misión para este viaje era la de garantizar un seguro y rápido desembarco de los pasajeros en la isla, guiar a los turistas únicamente por los senderos protegiendo el medioambiente, y una vez finalizado el Trekking, asegurar que el embarque se produjera bajo las mismas condiciones con las que habíamos arribado y así tener un feliz retorno a muelle.
La Isla de los Pingüinos se encuentra situada a unas 11 millas náuticas (20 Km.) al Sud-Este de Puerto Deseado, es un solitario punto sobre el Atlántico con donde sólo se escuchan las olas del mar golpeando contra las restingas, los graznidos de las aves y los llamados que los pequeños lobos marinos hacen a sus madres, es un lugar ideal para quien quiere encontrarse con uno mismo y sentir la sensación de estar solo en una isla.
Este imponente paraíso salvaje tiene como anfitrión al Pingüino de Penacho amarillo, quien siempre nos recibe muy amistosamente permitiéndonos disfrutar de la colonia más septentrional del mundo.
Una vez mas la expedición fue exitosa, regresamos luego de 6 horas de una inolvidable excursión y debo confesarles que después de varios días, aun queda grabada en mi mente la imagen de aquel pingüino que tras la roca nos miraba como diciendo..” vuelvan pronto....”
Isla Pinguino Expedition & Trekking
After several days without tourism activity finally I found the posibility to embarking in “Albatros”, the boat largest of Darwin Expeditions co., which set sail the next day for Penguin Island.
My mission for this trip was to ensure a safe and speedy disembarkation of passengers on the island, guiding the tourists to only trail by protecting the environment, and once the Trekking, ensuring that the shipment took place under the same conditions with which we had arrived and so have a happy return to the dock.
The Island of the Penguins is located some 11 nautical miles (20 Km.) to the south-east of Puerto Deseado, is a solitary point on the Atlantic where only hear the waves of the sea beating against the rocks, the squawk of birds and called that small sea lions to their mothers, an ideal place for anyone who wants to find oneself and to feel the sensation of being alone on an island.
This imposing wild paradise has hosted a Rock Hooper penguin, who always receives very friendly to us enabling us to enjoy the world’s most northern colony.
Once more the expedition was successful, we returned after 6 hours of an unforgettable trip and I must confess that after several days, is still in my mind the image of that penguin that behind the rock looking to us and seemed to tell us: .”come back again soon ....”
